Sept 2026: University of Essex AGM

On Monday 21 September 2026, I had the pleasure of attending the AGM at the University of Essex, my first visit to the University as Honorary Professor in the School of Health and Social Care. It was a very real pleasure to catch up with previous colleagues and meet some new ones too. In particular, I was able to hear more about the important tole of the Health, Wellbeing and Care Hub which provides an impressive range of services to local adults and children. I was also able to learn about some of the brilliant research led by Professor Andrew Bateman and try out some of the amazing technology that he is putting into practice.
